CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The discipline of ballet challenges the student physically and mentally. It is the foundation for any type of dance and enhances flexibility and control for any athlete. Our school emphasizes the importance of a correct foundation so that students will have the opportunity to develop skills to their maximum potential.
This Summer Dance Program is specially designed with different characteristics: Some classes are for students who need to develop skills, strength, clean up defects or difficulties, and get ready for the serious training they will be experiencing during the next school year. Other classes are meant to be an introduction to ballet, tap, jazz, and flamenco through a very special training method for younger students. Field trips to cultural sites. Final performance by the children showcasing all the disciplines they have learned through the three weeks of the program. Lunch is included in the tuition.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Core programs include sailing, canoeing, kayaking, waterskiing, tubing and wake boarding. Certified lifeguards and instructors ensure safety on the lake, while counselors provide creative encouragement and excitement on land.
All campers can play on the lake bouncer with its inflatable slide and log; go for a daily swim; and choose electives such as numerous lake activities (e.g. tubing, sailing, kayaking), fishing, outdoor cooking, creative arts and archery.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: The Orlando Ballet School Summer Intensive is for intermediate to advanced students ages 11 and up en pointe. OBS offers American training incorporating precise footwork, classical port de bras, and preparation for today’s classical ballet companies. CAMP FACILITIES: We use facilities provided by Camp Suwannee. There are 14 cabins all with air conditioning, a large indoor pavilion, swimming pool and several athletic fields. Meals are served family style in a dining hall. Cabin sizes are kept at 7 campers or fewer.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Open to ALL girls ages 6-17, Camp Kateri is a 550-acre sleep-away camp located 45 minutes southeast of Gainesville, Florida.
Week-long sessions begin on Sunday and end Friday. Campers live in cabins, platform tents, and tree houses. Each unit house has flush toilets, running water and electricity.
Our activities include archery, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, equestrian, creative arts, STEM, and outdoor skills.
Camp Kateri is owned and operated by the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council. You do not have to be a Girl Scout to enroll.

CAMP LOCATION: All girls welcome! We are located half an hour southeast of Gainesville, FL, on 550 acres with two beautiful lakes for aquatics!
CAMP FACILITIES: Open-air cabins, platform tents, treehouses, unit houses and bathhouses, dining hall, equestrian center, archery range, all beautifully ensconced between two pristine lakes.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: ACA accredited! Our staff are fully certified in their areas of expertise--archery, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, equestrian, and more--and everyone is trained in First Aid and CPR. The true value of resident camp runs much deep. All camp activities are designed to help the girls develop strong relationships (Friends), build confidence through personal growth (Mad Skills!), while - of course - enjoying the whole camp experience (Fun).
Campers have a lot of great choices at Camp Kateri, including two levels of Counselor-in-Training (CIT) programs and 6 different weekly themes.
